Tokai sets up auto AVS unit in Indonesia

West Java, Indonesia -- Tokai Rubber has set up a factory to make automotive anti-vibration products in Indonesia. The new company is a 100 percent Tokai subsidiary called PT. Tokai Rubber Indonesia. It is expected to be on stream in July 2012, building to full output in 2015.
By 2015, the company is expected to employ 300 and generate sales of rupiah 310 billion (euro 36.3 million).
The unit is on a site of 50 000 square feet and has a covered area of 7680 sq ft.
Tokai recently announced plans to build a factory to make plastic hoses for motorcycles in West Java, due on stream by November of this year.
